Saints and Sinners Series in November

Following the recent restoration of the Chancel of All Saints’ there is a discussion series taking place on Thursdays during November which focuses on the four figures on the reredos.  Each of the four saints are introduced by leading Oxford academics who will speak from 8 pm for 45 minutes then followed by discussion and concluding with Compline by candlelight.  The dates and talks are as follows:

with Rev’d Dr Jane Baun, Lecturer in Ethics and Church History, Ripon College Cuddesdon

23^rd November         St Gregory

with Bishop Humphrey Southern, Principal of Ripon College Cuddesdon

30^th November         St Augustine

with Professor Carol Harrison, Lady Margaret Professor of Divinity, Christ Church, Oxford
