On the day following St Valentine’s a special event was held in St Mary’s to celebrate the gift of love with those who had been married there. Of the couples who returned some had been married for a year, twelve years, twenty-one years and even fifty years. We sang some of the hymns which people had on their wedding day and ate a celebration cake shaped in a love heart. Thanks to Eileen Frazer who organised the tea and to everyone who came along to share their memories and wedding albums.
