To celebrate Emma’s time with us and to wish her well for her next chapter, each parish has a leaving event planned, you are welcome to come to any of them:
Cuddesdon: Farewell Lunch Sunday 3rd February 12.30 – 2 pm at the Village Hall.
All from the village are welcome to this buffet lunch. Please let Susan Palmer know if you are coming firstname.lastname@example.org and liaise with her or Jean Mackintosh if you are able to bring some food.
Horspath: Farewell Tea Saturday 9th February 3.30 – 5.30 pm at Horspath Hub

Garsington: Farewell Lunch Sunday 10th February 1 pm at Garsington Village Hall
There is a sign-up list in the church or please let Judy Eden 343563 or Eileen Frazer 361639 know by 4th February (and how many children will be coming) as places are limited.
Finally before the packers descend and we leave the Rectory, you are warmly invited to drop by the Rectory for an Open House from 10 am to 12.30 pm on Wednesday 13th February. Just bring yourselves and we will provide the coffee and pastries. Emma and Jonathan.
If you would like to contribute towards a gift for Emma, Jonathan and the family please send your donations to Robin Frazer (Garsington), Robert Wilson (Cuddesdon) and Brian Lowe (Horspath).
We are arranging a coach trip to Canterbury for Emma’s service of installation on Saturday the 16th of March. We are planning to arrive in Canterbury around 12.15 pm, to give three hours for lunch and a look around Canterbury before the service at 3.15 pm. There will be refreshments afterwards, and we expect to leave Canterbury around 5.45 pm. Please put your name down on the lists in the churches or contact Emma as soon as possible, even if provisionally, so we can calculate the cost per person: the more who go the cheaper it will be for each one of us! A departure venue from one of the villages will be confirmed in due course.
